This beast of a wheel was designed with inspiration from old Wings stage one single conical from the late 70's. We had another custom mold set engineered for this one, updating the shape slightly added a core, and Wes drew up a beautiful intricate engraving of twin dragons. Photographs do not do justice to the detail in this art, you've got to get a little dust in the engraving before it truly all comes out. Look really close at the top of the mouth and you'll see row of sharp teeth. Mix set of four wheels - 2 green 2 yellow.

NEW BDS Wheels - Old School Retro Series Double Conical Wheel(DubCons)

This wheel was inspired by the original Dogtown Skates K-9 that were produced for a very limited time in 1979. This is the wheel Wes helped to design and loved to skate. Sensing the desires of many skaters for a "real" old school shape, we set out to build the first of many custom engraved molds. You asked for it, you got it. A more aggressive 64mm wheel. Like our 62mm wheel, the 64mm wheel is a bit wider than most available on the market today, and features a little rounder shape than most others as well. Easy to get on and off the coping with less hang ups than the more vertical shaped wheels. Currently being skated in pools, parks, and even by some street skaters that are experimenting with larger diameters. Awesome skulls surrounded by waves graphic by Wes.
