We had heard about this Bones Bearing Cleaner for awhile and decided to give one a try. Our results? The thermos cleaner works great! I popped the shields off my Swiss bearings and loaded them in the cleaning thermos that i filled about half way with some acetone, gave the thermos a few shakes, let the unit sit for 30 minutes or so and opened the lid. Once I pulled the bearings off of the axle that holds them submersed in the cleaner, I dried them and gave them a spin. They were like new again, amazing! For 11 bucks you can save yourself some major money over the course of a year by maintaining your bearings. Bottom line - if you're running expensive, high end bearings you must get one of these, it will pay for itself in no time at all.
